Baltimore Elite Children's Martial Arts Classes

Baltimore Elite's martial arts classes for children provide a combination of exercise, discipline, self defense training, and fun! Children will build focus and self confidence while gaining skills necessary for all aspects of their lives.

Our classes are divided by age and experience level. There are three age catagories:

Tiny Tiger Classes: Tiny Tigers are aged 2-4 and are just learning the basics. They have a ton of energy and love to punch and kick, but need to be taught when it's appropriate. The classes are shorter and designed to be fun and teach the basics. Parents are encouraged to participate in these classes if they choose.

Little Dragon Classes: Little Dragons are aged 3-7 and are getting into real training. However, we break the training down into smaller routines that are easier for a younger child to focus on. They receive much more positive reinforcement and mini tests to help monitor their progress and motivate them to practice their skills.

Kid Classes: Kids aged 6 to 13 are taught in a traditional fashion in the same manner as our adult classes, but we add a few games and exercises to make things a bit more fun.

In all of our classes, students are taught mentally, physically and spiritually. They are encouraged to develop their mind and decision making along with their body and the physical skills needed. Often times, the best application of martial arts is in choosing not to fight. The key is knowing the correct choice and having the skills to implement that choice. Our classes prepare our students to know what actions need to be taking and how best to act.

Student Creed

I intend to develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth or my physical health.

I intend to develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others.

I intend to use what I learn in class constructively and defensively; in order to help myself and others and never to be abusive or offensive.
